|A friend of the child's mother says she and the father had a tumultuous relationship and that the suspect, Todd Marchetti, was abusive. The mother tried to get away and moved into her parent's home about two months ago. The friend says Marchetti had been stalking the mother ever since she left and broke into the home around 3 a.m. Friday morning.

|Surprise police have identified the suspect involved in a standoff with police that left a 6-month-old baby hospitalized and a home destroyed on Friday. On Saturday, Surprise police say 51-year-old Todd Christopher Marchetti was involved in Friday’s hostage situation. His remains were later found in the home, which caught fire after an hours-long standoff.
