STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Massachusetts woman has won two different $1 million lottery prizes in less than three months, according to PIX11.

As stated on the Massachusetts lottery website, Christine Wilson, from Attleborough, Mass., won $1 million from a $50 game called Lifetime Millions on Feb. 23, 2024.

Her second $1 million prize came from 100X Cash, which she won through a $10 ticket. She claimed the money on May 1, 2024, according to the Massachusetts lottery website.

For both games, “she opted to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes),” the Massachusetts lottery website detailed.

The odds of winning either game stretch above 1 in 1.5 million each, making her one very lucky lotto player.

New York has a similar game to Lifetime Millions, called Cash4Life: instead of the grand prize being a million dollars per year for life, the New York version allows top prize winners to receive $1,000 a day for life.

It is payable as a for-life annuity (minimum of 20 years) of $365,000 per year or a one-time lump sum payment at the election of the winner. The amount of the lump sum payment is equal to the estimated cash required to purchase the annuity.

The odds of winning the grand prize for Cash4Life is 1 in 21,846,048, according to the New York lottery website.

The Cash4Life drawing takes place daily at approximately 9 p.m.

Winning numbers for the Cash4Life game are drawn from a field of 1 to 60. The cash ball is drawn from a separate field of 1 to 4. To win the Cash4Life top prize, players must match the six numbers on their ticket to the winning six-number combination drawn — five numbers plus the cash ball.

Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app.

The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $1 billion in fiscal year 2022-23 to help support education in New York State.
