Exhibition of Qatari Way of Life and Culture on Display in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, May 6, 2024 /MONTSAME/. National Museum of Qatar's “On the Move” Exhibition opened at the National Museum of Mongolia on May 2, 2024.
The Exhibition is presented to Mongolian viewers under the sponsorship of the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It displays 50 exhibits from the National Museum of Qatar, such as artifacts, historical photographs, and documentary films depicting the life and culture of herders before the oil extractions began.
At the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition, Deputy Minister of Culture of Mongolia Battur Purevsuren and Director of the National Museum of Qatar Sheikha Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al Thani gave speeches, and actors of the Mongolian Grand Theater of National Arts demonstrated performance.
Director of the National Museum of Qatar Director Sheikha Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al Thani, Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs of the National Museum of Qatar Tania Al Majid, Head of Conservation of National Museum of Qatar Sunghyun Im, and Society and Oral History Researcher Najma Ahmed attended the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition.
“On the Move” Special Exhibition will open to the public free of charge at the National Museum of Mongolia until August 11, 2024.
